1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ParentHive (“ParentHive,” “we,” “us,” “our”). ParentHive is owned and operated by ITDev Solutions LLC, a Texas-based company. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ParentHive mobile application and related services (“Service”).

By creating an account or using ParentHive, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If material changes occur, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Description of the Service

ParentHive is a mobile application designed to help parents coordinate private carpools with other parents they choose to connect with. ParentHive provides communication and scheduling tools, including:

• User accounts and profiles
• Carpool matching
• Ride scheduling
• In-app messaging
• GPS-based ride tracking
• Referral links to connect with known users

ParentHive does not include public posts, forums, listings, or premium paid plans.

4. Eligibility — Adults Only

ParentHive is intended exclusively for adults 18 years of age or older.

By using the Service, you confirm:

• You are at least 18
• You have legal authority to make decisions for any minor child you transport

Minors are not permitted to create accounts.

5. User Content & Communications

ParentHive does not host public posts. User-to-user communications (messages, ride details, profile data) remain private between users.

You are responsible for all information you submit and for your interactions with other users.

We use and process this information only as necessary to operate the Service and do not sell user data.

6. Legal Responsibility & Important Disclaimers

6.1 ParentHive Is NOT a Transportation Provider

ParentHive and ITDev Solutions LLC:

• Do NOT provide or arrange transportation
• Do NOT employ, supervise, or control drivers
• Do NOT perform background checks
• Do NOT assess or monitor driving ability
• Do NOT inspect vehicles or safety equipment
• Do NOT guarantee that users are licensed, insured, or trustworthy
• Do NOT ensure the safety, timing, or completion of any ride

All carpool arrangements occur solely between users.

6.2 Your Responsibilities

You exclusively are responsible for:

• Your driving and conduct
• The safety, maintenance, and legality of your vehicle
• Insurance, registration, and valid driver’s license
• Child safety seats and compliance with all local laws
• Choosing who you ride with or allow your child to ride with
• Verifying the trustworthiness and suitability of other users

ParentHive has no liability for:

• Accidents
• Injuries
• Death
• Property damage
• Mechanical issues
• Road conditions
• Criminal actions of any user
• Misrepresentations by users
• Disputes between users

YOU PARTICIPATE IN CARPOOLS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service while driving
• Break laws or traffic rules
• Misrepresent your insurance or driving credentials
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Transport minors without parental/legal authority
• Upload viruses or harmful code
• Attempt to extract or misuse data
• Advertise or use ParentHive commercially

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose safety risks.
You may delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ParentHive is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of GPS/location data
• That any user is safe, insured, licensed, or trustworthy
• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That communication or tracking features will operate at all times

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ParentHive and ITDev Solutions LLC have no liability whatsoever for any accident, injury, death, property damage, or loss arising out of carpools or user actions.
• We are not responsible for negligence, reckless driving, misuse of vehicles, or mechanical failure.
• We are not responsible for disputes between users or harm caused by other users.

This protection applies even if we were advised of potential risks.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ParentHive and ITDev Solutions LLC from all claims, damages, costs, and liabilities arising from:

• Your driving or vehicle
• Your participation in carpools
• Your interactions with users
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws

This includes attorney fees.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Arbitration

All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association.

No Class Actions

You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity.

You may opt out within 30 days of creating your account by emailing:

13. Copyright / DMCA Policy

Although ParentHive does not host public posts, we still support DMCA procedures.

If you believe copyrighted material was shared in messages without authorization, send a notice to:

14. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy (below).

15. Miscellaneous

• If any section is invalid, the rest continues in effect.
• Not enforcing a right does not waive it.
• You may not assign your rights; we may assign ours.
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ParentHive.
